The FurToonia Virtual Estate Guide
The FurToonian Virtual Estate Guide was created by
Hydrae, and was converted to HTML format by Ginger. The original
guide is located in the UnderGround Park on FurToonia (gotree,
out, d, s, s), and a copy exists in the FurToonian Tourism Bureau
(gotree, out, s, kiosk). This Guide may not be updated as
regularly as the original; please check both when finding a home.
Every effort will be made to keep this page up-to-date. If you
would like to have your area added to either Guide, please page

General Information
Entries on each of the category pages are listed in this
format:
- #) Area Name (Owner ** Directions from Town
Square)
- Brief Description.
Note that several areas may be listed under more than one
category, depending on how the owner classified his/her area.
The directions given are either the shortest or the simplest, not
the only routes. '3e' means to go east 3 times.
Most of these areas are rather extensive, so wander around the
area until you find a suitable location for your home.
Unless stated otherwise, please page/#mail the owner for a home.
Entries are entered in alphabetical order.
The last page of this guide contains an
alphabetical list of all the areas included in this guide,
with their respective categories noted.
Any comments, suggestions, additions or corrections should be sent

Explanation of the Categories
- Caves -- Caverns, dens, burrows, underground
areas.
- Forests -- Woods, trees, treetops, mountains,
plains, and generally outdoor areas.
- Houses -- Apartment buildings, office parks,
lodges, castles, and other small communities.
- Roads -- Streets, lanes, alleys.
- Specialty areas -- Areas that cater to one
species or gender, or anime, undead, etc.
- Unusual -- Well outside the normal range of
choices.
- Water -- Rivers, streams, lakes, seas, and
their banks and beds.
- Sky/Space -- Up in the sky, space stations,
other planets, spaceships. (You should be able to fly to build
there.)
Caves and Caverns
- 1) Nighttown (Trenchcoat ** Kab,NTQ)
- Just underground, hi-tech gothic, darkness, and undead
area.
- 2) Phantom's Opera House (Phantom **
Kab,NTQ,s,noh)
- An old abandoned opera house buried deep within Nighttown.
Lots of hidden passages and trapdoors. Rooms can be added almost
anywhere.
- 3) The Portable Universe (Saurian ** AR,portal)
- The only self-mobile home on FT. You can either move into the
apartment complex, without help, or build your own home and
page/#mail Saurian to ask for a link.
- 4) The Shining Mountains (Ruffin ** Kab,SHI)
- Mountain range, with very varied terrain (use 'bigmap' from
anywhere on the MUCK).
- 5) South street Tunnels (Ginger ** 2S,D,etc. (large,
2-level area))
- Top level, nearest street, is a traditional catacomb-type
tunnel area; the lower level is the Cloisters (see their
listing). Rooms/links for more extensive building
available.
Forests and Outdoor Areas
- 1) Centaur Gather Grounds ( Xanth **
AR,jpath,w)
- For centaurs or non-centaurs; for furs or non-furs. Open to
ALL! Nice, quiet, peaceful with lots of rooms to
expand. Pick from one of twelve main rooms and "claim" a
home. Come claim one today. No help needed.
- 2) The Portable Universe (Saurian ** AR,portal)
- The only self-mobile home on FT. You can either move into the
apartment complex, without help, or build your own home and
page/#mail Saurian to ask for a link.
- 3) Shining Mountains (Ruffin ** Kab,SHI)

anywhere on the MUCK).
Houses, Apartment Buildings, and Small Communities
- 1) Centaur Gather Grounds ( Xanth **

- Renovated, mostly empty, self-claim apartment complex, much
like the UnderGround Apartments, only less full! :)
- 3) Cloisters (Ginger ** south, south, down, down)
- Series of elegant underground rooms forming an apartment
complex. Indoor pool. Can claim apts without aid of owner. Move
right in!
- 4) The Fairy Brugh (Ceannan ** e, t, g, knock,
enter)
- A palace in Faerie accessed through a fairy knowe (or hill) in
an enchanted grove. The palace has a Great Hall, a library (under
construction) and gardens (also under construction). This is a
palace of magic and enchantment, technology is discouraged, and
creatures of enchantment are invited to dwell here. May eventually
lead into the land of Faerie. Private rooms are available.
- 5) FurToonia Estates (Carla ** Kab,FTE,follow path to
manor entrance)
- Luxury Apartments Manor with swimming pool, Steam Train Ride,
lake, hot tubs, tennis courts, etc. Lots of room--still have over
200 available and/or will custom build to suit.
- 6) Masoch Hall Student Residence (Simone **
ar,sfs,r)
- Housing for students and instructors in Simone's Finishing
School. Also takes anyone looking for "an open-minded place to
live with a communal area"
- 7) Meadow Run Manor (Ginger ** east, south, south)
- Three-story haunted house, located in Meadow Run's south side.
Open to the public; rooms available by request on the second
floor.

- Small, private converted house, with community living room,
dining room and kitchen. Second floor rooms available on request;
will build to suit. One-room apartments only.

- Mountain range with very varied terrain (use 'bigmap' from
anywhere on the MUCK.)
11) Undersavanna Apartments (Furbound
** Kab,SAV,n,e,b,w)
Conveniently located within short distance of the savanna.
It's underground, but nicely done. (No earth walls or stuff
like that.) @chownable houses for anyfur. To get a
home, just get it. No intervention needed.
Roads, Streets, and Lanes
- 1) Cairn Street (Ginger ** 8S, etc)
- Residential street in the south of town. Also suitable for
small businesses.
- 2) Doe Avenue (Ginger ** 4S,2E,S)
- A quiet, heavily shaded, almost empty residential street in
the southern heart of FurToonia. Lots of trees, large, wooded
lots. Suitable for homes, cottages, small (1-4 rooms) apartment
complexes.
Specialty Areas

- 1) Blackwater Plains (Ginger ** 10S,2W)
- Small tribal community in an open plain. Open for builder
additions and small huts or cabins.
- 2) Derelict Townhouse (Hieronymous ** Kab,GTH,N ..OR ..
2S,4W,N)
- A dilipated townhouse (large parts of which are under
renovation) that formerly belonged to a leisured gentleman:
Library, smoking room, spa, terrace, and so on. Present owner's
taste is eccentric. Rooms available on discrete request.
- 3) The Fairy Brugh (Ceannan ** E,T,G,knock,enter)
- A palace in Faerie accessed through a fairy knowe (or hill) in
an enchanted grove. The palace has a Great Hall, a library (under
construction) and gardens (also under construction). This is a
palace of magic and enchantment, technology is discouraged, and
creatures of enchantment are invited to dwell here. May eventually
lead into the land of Faerie. Private rooms are available.
- 4) FurToonia Zoological Gardens (Ginger ** 4N,W)
- Space here for exhibits, homes tucked into exhibits, shops or
keepers' homes. Will build to suit.
- 5) Masoch Hall (Simone ** AR,SFS,R)
- Housing for students and instructors in Simone's Finishing
School. Also takes anyone looking for "an open-minded place to
live with a communal area".
- 6) Meadow Run Stables (Ginger ** E,S,E)
- Large, clean stables with riding arena, hot walker/shower,
separate mare/gelding and stallion barns, tack room and feed room.
Stalls claimable without assistance in main aisle, and on request
in stallion barn.
- 7) Nighttown (Trenchcoat ** Kab,NTQ)
- Just an underground, hi-tech gothic, darkness and undead area.
Home of the Underdark Bar.
- 8) Phantom's Opera House (Phantom **
Kab,NTQ,s,noh)
- An old abondoned opera house buried deep within Nighttown.
Lots of hidden passages and trapdoors. Rooms can be added almost
anywhere.
- 9) St. Jude's Church (Nevada ** Kab,NTQ,2s,w,stj)
- The theme is Gothic, like Nighttown where it's located, except
no vampires, wights, demons, wraiths, or anything else overtly
evil (after all, it *is* a church!)
Unusual Areas
- 1) The Cloisters (Ginger ** south, south, down,
down)
- Series of elegant underground rooms forming an apartment
complex. Indoor pool. Can claim apts without the aid of
owner.

- A small cluster of islands off the west coast of northern FT.
A seaside area with an unusual history.

- The only self-mobile home on FT. You can either move into the
apartment complex, without help, or build your own home and

- 4) Shining Mountains (Ruffin ** Kab,SHI)

Up in the Sky
- 1) Loonatic Homes (Stanley **
KAB,FIS,2p,loona,3w,lh)
- Homes located on Loona, FT's moon. No help needed to set up a
home.
- 2) Space Station Eros (Rikal ** AR,enter,transport
eros)
- A space station in geosynchronous orbit above Town Square. No
assistance from the owner is needed to set up a home.
- 3) U.S.S. Enterprise (Slartibartfast ** AR,beam
in)
- This is an actual flying model of the NCC 1701-D. It includes
a shuttle bay that can hold personal spacecraft. Until further
notice, you can move in without the owner's help, but you must p
#mail him to put your name in the directory.
- 4) The Vanguard (Stanley ** AR,board shuttle)
- An Imperial Star Destroyer a la Star Wars. Aside from housing,
people can join the flight crew and get their own TIE fighter if
they desire. A flight deck also holds personal spacecraft. You do
not need to p#mail Stanley in order to set up a home.
